Jack
Smillie.
I build high-impact digital content and short-form video that grows national audiences.
Eight years ago I left London to live and work across the North. I co-founded and scaled the UK’s biggest weekly student event across seven cities. Pioneering new digital strategies drove hundreds of millions of organic views and millions of ticket sales, while consistently topping national event rankings.
Most recently I was Director at Loosedays, where I scaled Tropiloco into a nationally recognised brand, dominating social media and regularly topping national event rankings.

Digital Leadership
I’ve spent the last eight years leading digital strategy at scale: from growing national brands to building a political content platform from scratch. I pioneered digital and social marketing strategies that were subsequently adopted by wider industry.
Most of my experience has been spent working at pace in high-pressure start-up environments, innovating new digital strategies and focusing on content that actually connects with people.
Social Media & Consultancy
I founded EuroClub, Eurovision's official week of afterparties that has gone on to sell out across Liverpool, Mälmo, Basel, and Vienna.
I work with businesses that want proper digital growth. Whether it's building a marketing strategy, creating content, or taking full ownership of your digital presence, I can help.
Political & Social Content
I founded Actually England, an independent free-speech content platform that reached over 23,000 followers and 15 million views in its first month through organic growth. My work has been featured by GB News, the Daily Mail, The Times, and Sky News.
Having lived and worked across London, Newcastle, Liverpool and other northern cities, I’ve spent a lot of time speaking with people outside of Westminster. I've developed a clear sense of the issues that matter to people beyond the political bubble. This experience shapes my digital approach.
I produce on-the-ground content focused on real voices and real concerns.
